How to Inspect a Powder Vacuum Feeder Before Use

The powder vacuum feeder conveys materials using inert gas. When the filtration system is inefficient, the equipment may fail to feed materials, triggering fault alarms.

Ineffective filtration in the feeder may result from damaged or improperly installed seals, leading to leaks during operation. Additionally, insufficient compressed air pressure can cause inadequate reverse blow force, leaving residual dust in the filtration system.

If the filtration system becomes clogged or inefficient, it may impair overall filtration performance. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean residual materials from the filtration system and replace damaged filter elements.

The powder vacuum feeder uses filter elements to separate materials from gases and transports materials through pipelines under vacuum conditions. Even minor pipeline damage will not cause materials to leak into the external environment.

Before using the vacuum feeder to transport materials, carefully inspect the equipment and address any damaged components to reduce the likelihood of malfunctions.

First, check the tightness of the connections on the vacuum feeder. Next, inspect the equipment’s stability and tension. Then, verify the voltage, operating frequency, and instrument panel readings. Finally, ensure the inlet and outlet valves in the pipeline are functioning correctly. These inspections help prevent equipment failures during high-load operation.

When commissioning the powder vacuum feeder before operation, ensure all components and positioning pins are secure. Clean any rust, blockages, or scaling inside the equipment. Additionally, inspect easily damaged parts such as exhaust pressure gauges and pressure meters, and replace any faulty components.
