Brief Analysis of Causes of Vacuum Feeder Malfunctions

2025-10-24

When the vacuum feeder experiences no suction or reduced suction, it is recommended to check the following components:

The compressed air pressure should be maintained at 0.4–0.6 MPa. Insufficient compressed air supply pressure can lead to inadequate reverse blow force, preventing the thorough cleaning of dust on the filter surface and thereby affecting the feeding speed of the vacuum feeder.

Pipe connections must be securely fastened. Use hose clamps to tighten pipe joints to prevent air leakage from affecting the vacuum level.

Check whether the barrel seal ring is properly installed. Loosen the clamp and ensure the barrel seal ring is *fully seated in the S-shaped flange. If damaged, replace it promptly to prevent air leakage from affecting feeding efficiency.

Verify whether the door plate can close tightly. The door plate must be *fully closed to create a vacuum. If material adheres to the discharge door plate, clean it promptly.
Also, ensure the door seal ring is correctly installed, paying attention to its orientation. If damaged, replace it immediately.

Check whether the filter is clogged. Clean residual material from the filter regularly. If the filter is damaged or cannot be cleaned effectively, replace it in a timely manner.
